Executive Producer and New Media Strategist, Steve Mack

Steve Mack is executive producer, new media strategist, and founder of Impact! Video Production. Steve works with a variety of Fortune 500 companies and non-profit organizations to help them more effectively engage their employees and members using the power of video and social media. A partial list of recent clients includes: National Corporate Housing, Northrop Grumman, L3 Communication, National Ticket Company and Citizens Project.

Beginning in April 2011 Steve has joined the team at the Cultural Office of the Pikes Peak Region (COPPeR) to help grow support and funding for the arts and creative industry sectors in Southern Colorado.

Steve is a respected new leader in the Colorado video and film community. Several of his documentary films have been awarded in film competitions, including "So Far From Home", which won the Colorado Spotlight Film Award at the 4th annual Indie Spirit Film Festival in 2011. In 2008 he co-founded the Filmmakers Alliance of Southern Colorado, an organization dedicated to building a strong network of film and video professionals in the Pikes Peak region.

Prior to launching Impact! Video Production Steve was producer and editor at The Teaching Company, where he created educational programs with top university professors from across the country.

Steve brings a decade of corporate finance, training, and project management experience to his client projects. His career includes success in a variety of roles with both Fortune 500 and start-up companies in the high-tech, telecommunications and training industries. For over five years Steve thrived in America Online's bustling internet culture. While with the internet giant he gained valuable experience in online publishing and advertising. Steve managed rich media techology integration for AOL's advertising partners, as well as worked on AOL Search during the rise of Google search. Then, with top training design firm T3 Consulting Steve managed and delivered programs on communications skills, project management, diversity and brand awareness.

Steve has an MBA in International Finance from Thunderbird and dual undergraduate degrees from the College of William & Mary in Government and Russian Studies. While at Thunderbird Steve took top honors in the school's annual student film competition, the Pia Award.

Steve is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management and has certifications in Digital Video Editing, e-Learning Design and Program Facilitation. Steve is a Certified Toastmaster and regularly speaks on how organizations can use the power of video and new media to more effectively engage their communities.
